MaxBP: Fun facts
Coach Krupnick: At the age of 16, Coach Krupnick was personally coached by Ted Williams. He still uses a couple of the drills "Teddy Ballgame" taught.
MaxBP: Most memorable baseball moments as a player?
Coach Krupnick: (1) In a Boston Park League Playoff Game, on consecutive at bats in the 2nd, 3rd and 5th innings, Coach Krupnick hit a 3-run Bomb, 2-RBI single, and a Grand Slam! 9 RBI in 3 at bats. He led his team to the title. (2) MLB tryouts at Fenway Park and Tiger Stadium. One was arranged by the legendary Ernie Harwell, Hall of Fame broadcaster. Coach worked out with Norm Cash and Al Kaline.
MaxBP: Most memorable baseball moment as a high school coach?
Coach Krupnick: Leading Holliston High to the 1987 Mass. State Championship (Div. II.) The team featured future MLB player Mark Sweeney as its number 3 hitter. Sweeney still holds the all-time MLB record for pinch-hit RBI, and is second in all-time pinch-hits.
MaxBP: Most memorable baseball moments as a hitting coach?
Coach Krupnick: Coaching thousands of kids on hitting at my school and watching their joy and success, Bucky Dent's baseball camps, going to South Africa to teach on behalf of MLB, and coaching alongside great hitters like Don Matting, Don Baylor, Pete Rose, etc.

Coach Krupnick: Barry Bonds. Even the fly balls were higher and longer than anyone else.
