The Contact Point Locator is used in batting practice for the purposes of providing exacting feedback regarding the ideal place for the bat to make contact with the pitch. It gives the hitter a precise location for where he or she should hit an outside pitch, an inside pitch or a pitch down the middle. After the hitter swings and makes contact, they then place the CPL on a spot on the ground representative to where he or she thinks they hit the ball.
